Responding to comments by the UK Secretary of the Armed Forces in support of the Ukrainian attacks on Russia, presenters on Channel One’s 60 Minutes program claimed that nuclear weapons could hit European capitals less than four minutes after the launch. The scary allegations about Russia’s nuclear program were made on the popular TV show, which is one of the most watched on the country. It is hosted by her husband and wife Olga Skabeyeva and Evgeny Popov, and the guest Aleksey Zhuravlyov said: “A Sarmat (rocket) and finally – the British Isles no longer exist.” Skabeyeva, nicknamed “Putin’s Iron Doll” for criticizing opposition parties, warned “but we are serious people” and was told she was “taking it seriously”. “They accuse us of state terrorism.” Skabeyeva pointed out that the United Kingdom also had nuclear weapons and “no one will survive this war.” The show then revealed a map showing how the rockets could be fired from Kaliningrad, the Russian enclave between Poland, Lithuania and the Baltic Sea. He argued that Berlin could be destroyed by a nuclear strike in just 106 seconds, Paris in 200 seconds and London in 202 seconds. In response to continued Western support for Ukraine, Putin recently ordered his army to test Sarmat missiles. The United Kingdom and other Western nations are supplying equipment, military vehicles and weapons to the invading country. Just last week, Putin claimed that his country’s supersonic missiles could “break all modern defenses” and be ready to besiege Britain “until the autumn.” For more stories from where you live, visit InYourArea.
