The 53-year-old former MDT coordinator for gynecological cancer took a new baby to her son’s ex-girlfriend after discovering which ward she was in. She is now in arrears and “can not afford to pay” her bills after she was fired for violating her contract on February 9th. She is currently trying to appeal the decision in a desperate attempt to get her job back, BirminghamLive reports. “I put my hands up on what I was doing, I apologized. My heart went out in front of my head. It was really an act of kindness,” said Ms Kings, who worked for the NHS for 15 years. She was like a daughter to me. All I did was look in the ward, go and buy her a present from kindergarten and as soon as I entered inside. “I went to the ward, I asked the ward attendant, ‘Is that so here, is there a case for me to go in and give her this?’ The ward attendant said yes. I said, “I’m very happy for you. A complaint had been lodged and Birmingham Women’s Hospital told her she needed to be examined. “I was never suspended, they waited for me to work until nightfall and then I was fired,” he added. “I have appealed, but they keep confusing me with appointments. I just feel like I’ve been disappointed. I just think I was fired unfairly and I feel like I’ve been kicked in the teeth.” Mrs. Kings made a big pay cut when she was forced to take a job as a receptionist in a GP operating room. He said: “I’m late, I can not afford it. They left me tall and dry. I felt suicidal, I take sleeping pills, I take antidepressants. It was a nightmare, they have ruined my life. “ A Trust spokesman said: “The confidentiality of our patients and their health records is paramount.
