The annual fashion exaggeration took place on September 13 last year and was canceled last year due to the pandemic. Tonight, nearly 400 celebrities will attend the event in New York and walk the red carpet on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This year’s theme is “In America: Anthology of Fashion”, with the dress code referring to the invitations as “Gilded Glamor” and is the second part of an exhibition by the museum’s Costume Institute. The first part of the exhibition, “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”, was the theme of the 2021 Met Gala. As usual, Vogue’s Anna Windour will be hosting the gala, as she has been since 1995, and has organized the celebrity guest list for the evening.
