The 33-year-old from Burnley Padiham was found on Friday after “extensive investigations”, said the Lancashire police, and now he has been officially identified. It was last seen around 9.30am on Friday 22 April. “An autopsy-necropsy was performed by the Ministry of Interior and the cause of death was given as head injuries,” the force added in a statement on Sunday. “Our thoughts remain with Katie’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.
