Ms Kenyon, 33, was last seen boarding a silver Ford Transit truck at Burnley at around 9.30am. on April 22, which then headed to the Bolton-by-Bowland area of Lancashire, police said. An autopsy performed by the Interior Ministry confirmed that he had died from head injuries. Lancashire police found a body Friday night in the Forest of Bowland after receiving new information about Ms. Kenyon’s whereabouts. On Friday, Andrew Burfield, 50, appeared via video from HMP Preston for a brief hearing in court charged with the murder of Ms. Kenyon. Mr Burfield, from Burnley Todmorden Road, spoke only to confirm his identity during a seven-minute hearing at Preston Crown Court. He was remanded in custody. More than 60 police officers from four police forces searched the dense forest area for Ms. Kenyon. The hunt was attended by police and firefighters, dog groups, cavalry police, mountain rescue volunteers and drones. Mrs. Kenyon’s family thanked the well-wishers for exceeding the. 10,000 target to pay for her funeral and take care of her children. Mrs. Kenyon’s sister, Sarah, thanked those who had donated in a Facebook message, saying: “Children !! We exceeded our goal !! “Each of you was absolutely amazing [sic]!
