Police arrived with the London Ambulance Service and the victim was rushed to hospital. He died a short time later. The man’s family has been informed and the force says it will be backed by specialist officers. An autopsy-necropsy will be arranged in due time. Police at the scene have cordoned off the Greenwich DLR station today and trains are moving but not stopping at the station. The officers remain on the fence this morning.
