The elimination of the 2019-20 playoffs by the Chicago Blackhawks was much worse. The defeat in four games by a team that should not have been in the playoffs was embarrassing. Now, the time of redemption begins for the Edmonton Oilers. Tomorrow, the game drops to Rogers Place for one of the first round series against the LA Kings. Expectations are high for Oilers, but should they be? What has this team proven over the last two seasons to assume they will move to the Kings? Let’s see what The Nation thinks about the Oilers and what their expectations should be after the season. The biggest reason is that the competition will bring another level of intensity that the ability will not affect as much as it should. Of course, if the Oilers lose to the Flames, we will all be upset. However, I would not say the season is a disappointment. Before we get ahead of ourselves, getting out of the first round must be the first goal for the Oilers. Advertising – Continue reading below
