Police said they responded to a call about a shot being fired at the Courtyard by Marriott on West Woodlawn Road around 6 p.m. At the scene, police said they found a man next to a car behind the hotel with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim later died on the spot, according to the CMPD. We do not know if he was only in the area. Wrong place, wrong time or if situation was known. “But we are working again to see where this information leads us,” said Major Dave Robinson.
