San Bernardino county CHP officers reportedly began the chase in Barstow shortly after 8 p.m. The suspects were linked to armed robberies in Henderson, Nevada, but the connection was not immediately known. The chase entered Los Angeles County at 8:46 p.m. on Highway 210 heading west, where the suspect hit speeds of 90 miles per hour and ended up with the two men getting out of the car at 9:25 p.m. on Highway 110 South on Eighth Street, said CHP officer Patrick Kimball. The men were seen running in lanes from south to north. The video shows a suspect being detained near a parking garage as the search continued for a suspect believed to have jumped off the highway from a bridge. The man was found on the ground with at least one broken ankle and was taken to hospital, Kimball said. It was not clear if weapons or loot were found. The names of the suspects were not immediately disclosed, nor was a description of the armed robberies available.
