A young man was stabbed to death in a “shocking and brutal” quarrel outside a popular bar in south east London early Sunday morning. British Transport and Metropolitan Police officers were called to Belushi’s on Greenwich High Road at 2.15am. and found the victim, about 30 years old, with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service but died shortly afterwards. Officers said the man’s family had been informed and supported by specialist officers. No arrests have been made. BTP will lead the investigation because it happened near the Greenwich DLR station, which remains closed as medical examiners look for clues.
