Lincolnshire police have launched an investigation into the two deaths, which the force says are being treated as unexplained. Emergency services were called to a property in Lincolnshire shortly after 4pm on Sunday after reports that two people had been injured. The woman, believed to be around 30, and a man, believed to be around 40, were both found lifeless at the spot on George Street. No official identification has been made yet, but special officers are working with the victims’ families. DI Andy McWatt said: “Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of those who have lost their lives. “The tragic events this afternoon must be a real shock to the people living in the area and I want to make it clear that we are doing everything we can to find out exactly what happened. “We have a team of officers working diligently on this investigation and we are conducting a series of investigative lines and we still want to hear from the public.” There is a fence at the spot while forensic examinations are being completed and local officers are in the area conducting investigations. Members of the public who may have information have been called to contact the police.
